NEW GLUABLE RUBBER TRACKS - SUPER DECAL FOR 3 VERSIONS - COLORED INSTRUCTION SHEET
During the African campaign the British used some Stuart tanks without the turret as troop carriers or as artillery tractors. It was later that to make up for the shortage of armoured vehicles that the Canadian General Guy Simonds ordered the field workshops to remove the gun from some old M7 Priest self-propelled guns and convert them into vehicles for the transport of infantry. The success of this operation soon spread among all the Commonwealth troops and soon every obsolete tank was transformed into a Kangaroo, this was the name given to this type of conversion, which allowed the transport of fully equipped soldiers in combat gear directly to the front line. The defensive armament could vary depending on the availability with Browning .50 or .30 calibre machine guns up to the Boys anti-tank rifle.
